This is a school workbook which complements the text book. I guess your child is pretty good in maths for you to contemplate that.Has she gone thru the P1/P2 books too.Personally , i would suggest to go more on numeracy skills, play around with geometry concepts, than on the regular p3 syllabus. The primary school syllabus is not very wide but the depth expected is pretty high. so a good number sense plays a very good foundation. Of course you know your child the best. So choose wisely.

Yes…I’m using these series of P3 for my girl a few months now…I personally find 3As are a bit easy to her but still go ahead with her on soving skills questions that I think is very good to have…Don’t use P1&P2 because those I find less challenging to her, more on drilling, not so much on thinking skill, also I’ve other interesting Maths to supplement her, more on the fun IQ Maths from Taiwan…

I thought that I would share the details of a US A book on Proportional Reasoning Maths, and it is pitched at P6 to P8. It should be a fantastic grounding for the GEP Maths problems.

The link is below, and it has some pdf’s, one of which includes a sample question. I have bought it and I thoroughly recommend it. It is probably better than Terry Chew’s Maths Olympiad Books.
