Hi Coralie,My girl was told to bring her maths 1B part 2 workbook to school this week. Looks like they will finish the maths syllabus by term 4?
She went thru a 3-lesson selection trial for Chinese Dance CCA for the past 1 month and made it in. Read from the newsletter that the CCA won Gold for this year's SYF. I don't think that their selection process is stringent as my girl has no prior knowledge of dance. Most likely, it is for the students to see if they like the CCA and to replace the outgoing P6 students. Been encouraging her to take up the CCA as a way to expend her energy. If not, she will be home in the morning playing the iPad or watching TV.

Hi,
My DS is in higher chinese class for this term
Would you know if they will be re-streamed to Higher Chinese class at P2?
Frankly speaking, I'm glad that the kids changed classes for term 3. DD seems to enjoy her classes much more under the new teacher as compared to terms 1 & 2. She told me that she's sleepy during chinese classes under the previous teacher. -

Hi,
He enjoyed his chinese lesson in term 1 & 2, from there he catched up. He does not like chinese during K1 & K2, he can't even speak well in his chinese language
I feel stress for him in higher chinese. Hopefully he cans continue to do well.
Yes, according to his chinese teacher, higher chinese is very competitive, if he can't score well he will drop out.
I understand that there is only 1 class for higher chinese in Pri 1. -

It's good that the school is able to improve his Chinese standard. So dun worry
