My child said ok for his english oral. Asked him what the conversation topic was and he said charity. Asked him what he said and he said cleaning up the school canteen. Now wondering what he said is out of the topic ?!

He mentioned something about what good deed he had done. My boy said visit old age home. Whatever he has said and done for oral is over.
It's a really good feel to be able to move on. Next week school prelims.

acc to dd Pic discussion is abt charity food fare, conversation is abt school activities.. if that's correct that means yr son's answer is not out of topic 🙂

Hope he is recovering from his sore throat already.

I thought my child will say visiting the Lions Home, which we did before. We also ever practised oral conversation on this topic before. Wondering why he said about cleaning school canteen…? community work = charity? 😞 Hope it’s acceptable. Anyway, yes, it’s 1 down.

              Wish all a good weekend!

It seems like English oral today has more things to talk about as compared to yesterday’s. It’s about Charity Food Fair, conversation about a school activity.

Yay! Today R&R day! Well deserved break!

My DD said the same thing, i.e. picture for English oral today is on charity fair and conversation is on school activity. Talking about cleaning in school is perfectly fine.

All these while, I thought the topic on picture conversation & conversation is somehow related. But it seems like it's not the case this year. Yesterday English picture was on story telling & conversation on happy moment. Today English picture is on charity fun fair & conversation is on school activity. Is there a change this year??? :scratchhead:
