Oh okay cos my fren bought about 30 g honey at $3 per bottle, small and nice and cheap so thinking of getting 3 for 3 subject teacher. Less than $10 and cheaper than popular.

I find some of popular's gifts are not so practical. Honey sounds like a good choice. Get your child to make some cards to go with it. :boogie:

I asked cos the wrapping of the honey looks elegant and ex, dunno whether the teacher will think that it is ex and dun accept. i actually thought of putting the price tag $3 at the bottle. ya will get my girl to write a note maybe ask her to add in\"though this does not cost much but it is the thought that counts\"

Budget of under $10 per teacher is not consider expensive. Just like what you had mentioned, it is the thought that counts.

Hi, my hubby and I are keen to enrol our girl in Nan Chiau. But recently, heard from a friend that her child whom studies in the school feels stressed by the teachers and is unhappy. Sometimes, he even refuses to attend school. My friend told me she feels the teachers only emphasise on academic results and not the character development of the children.


I would like to hear more feedback from parents with kids studying in the school? Do your kids have difficulties coping with the schoolwork? Is tuition necessary? Do they enjoy going to school and find learning enjoyable rather than stressing?

I think this is very subjective. Is up to individual kids and parents how they assist or communicate with the kids.
There are parents who also complaint that their schools do not give enough homework. Very free... even when is upper primary.
so what is good for your kids? Only the parents can answer this.
NCPS is a very IT school. They have alot of IT gadgets as you might have read in the paper. This is something the kids enjoy but not all parents like the idea as afraid the kids damage it and have to pay.
So this is something very subjective as well.
