      Castle House:
      Morning everyone..

Guess all have are attending enrichment .. I am still holding back..

Today my boy will be having his immunisation jab.. πŸ˜“
If your boy is doing ok, then he won't need it

DDs have little exposure to Chinese except for my  in Chinese

For maths, I do know what are DD1 weak points so giving her a heads up in grasping concepts and she loves her classes which is leading to DD2 begging for it :faint: :faint: :faint: :faint:

        What does \"tuition is more 1 - 1 ? \" mean?

like private teaching to focus on weak areas? while enrichment, the child already have a basic understanding and can be exposed to more tougher questions? πŸ¦†

Oh, okay. Thanks for explaining. Yes, tuition has its good points. Particularly the personalised attention.

I see tuition as to keep up with sch... Enrichment as to stay ahead of sch...

But usually these are only as good as the tutor/teacher.

Yup, Castle House, that’s the way to do it.

                  Daddy 😧
                  :faint:

Dd can really visualize the answers only with small numbers... But not with big numbers... She's slowly understanding the concepts... :xedfingers:

Pity the kids... Last time we P1 where got learn so fast one... 🀷

Wonder which parent got the courage to let the P1 kid flunk his/her test?
No choice if parents are too bz with work to supervise.
Let her vocalise step by step how she arrive at the answer for the small numbers when she has the correct answer.

This way she will understand the concept.

For bz parents, the short cut is past yr papers and just focus on mistakes.

                    Orh...
Enrichment is tuition lah... Unless not subject-related.
My dd also got Chinese \"enrichment\"...
Hmm... Time to shortlist for Maths? :yikes:

                    tuition is more 1 - 1 ?

You can discuss with your wifey on maths πŸ•Ί

The subject I am on focused on \"Common Sense\" :faint: :faint:

:hi5: common sense very important. No way to increase dd1's general knowledge by leaps and bounds so asking her to develop her common sense to help her in the qns that she does not know. :rotflmao:

                      bz parent... short cut :skeptical:

marking the papers are tedious

using my childhood as benchmark although it does seem leaps apart. During my days, at least I had my aunts and mum to \"tutor\" or revise with me at home\" . Although I had chinese tuition, my chinese was CMI and I resented the language since no one can converse with me at home. Think that thought just propelled for Chinese Enrichment, at least they enjoy the language unlike me when young

Hiaz, It feels awful but kind of \"outsourcing\" the teaching. DD1 is coping with english on her own with some input from me.

think I will start to join in the bee-yaching :rotflmao: if outsourcing also doesnt work and I need to step in
