Hi,
Has anyone put their daughter in Rhythmic Gym as CCA ? My daughter has just been offered to take up Rhythmic Gym. I am a bit concern as to whether my girl can handle her academic studies well, considering the hectic training schedule with 3 times a week training for 3 hrs.
Can anyone share with me their experience if being in school team/competition will affect their academic studies? Thanks -
Hi
My gal will be P2 next yr.
Seems like PV is now a tool use by both Parents and School alike to some mutual benefits.
Do not really like this kind of idea of PV. You really need to be sincere working and doing work for school to enjoy the whole process. Although we got our boy into his school at Phase 2A, only after he gets into P1, we decide to be PV after he is in P1 (starting as Class Rep and later as Level Rep) at our own will / contributing to school, not for some purpose and you enjoy every moment of it.
We are lucky that our gal get into school at Phase 2C without ballot and without PV, so we are not volunteer in MCS yet.
Used to be very popular school during the days when it was still a full school (that is with secondary school). -

MCS got student above 275, wondering what is the exact score! -
Great gift for the departing Principal.
The highest is 276.

Hi
I recently went for the specialised CCA briefing and was told the school has sent quite a number of P6 girls to Raffles Girls, St Nicholas Girls, PLMGS and CHIJ Toa Payoh, etc through DSA program.
Just wondering does anyone knows the success rate of MCS girls getting into these schools through DSA? -
