You want to spend $60 for your child's haircut that is your problem. If the haircut not up to school standard, no choice you have to fork out summore $$ to get it up to standard. And seriously, we all know what the school needs in terms of haircuts. And really wonder why people make police reports over such things.

The teacher should know better. What in the world possessed her to do such a thing. Get yourself into trouble over some hair issue. If I am the principal of the school I think I would want to strangle this teacher. Not busy enough meh, gotta handle this kind of things.

Another case of SG education gone mad... :siao:

                  Teacher cut pupils's hair...
                  Parent call mata...
Parent spend $60 on ah-beng hair...
Teacher apologized to parent and pupils...
Ministry told parent \"to forgive the teacher\"...

                  The joke is on who?
                  :siao:

And the parent keeps harping on the $60 haircut. So? Who cares! :siao:
This will definitely not be the last case looking at how some of these parents behave nowadays.

Eh..I read from the New Paper just now - thought the school did sent out reminder letters to those children who need haircut before PSLE Oral. It is the boy who forgot to give his mum the PN.

So now, who is the more embarrassing one ? 🤷

btw the photo of the boy before the teacher cut his hair showed that the fringe was indeed long and looked like he was in need of a haircut actually

If the boy did not do well bec of this 'trauma', then I think he was simply too 'sheltered' for his own good.

                        True, true....over zealous teacher.

But, if pupil are being penalised. Teacher will still be blamed by parent. Probably be asked why never take immediate action to prevent it from happening.

Really not easy to be a Teacher in Singapore.
