In layman's term, my personal understanding:-
ABRSM is the conventional classical music type. Students must play exactly based on the scores.
ANZCA encourages improvisation (not playing exactly based on scores) for example....students are exposed to a variety of music.
for ANZCA, will it be reconginse if want to teach piano as a living infuture?

Thanks[/quote]Frankly speaking I don't know. Recognise by who? The society? I only know if my kid can learn and enjoy playing, that's enough for me. There will always be a market for ANZCA students......for parents like me lol. If your kid can play well, with creativity.... Do you think he or she will have a better chance at any audition?
