By the way where's our wonder boys!
Joseph Schooling and Zen Wen are back to Singapore liao...they are in the pool this morning at 530am at Swimfast Aquatic Club at Barker Road under the good hands of head coach of Swimfast David Lim.
I guess preparation starts now for the next Oly 2016...as I read from the ST, they will be competing this week at SSS

How good is good?
Can anyone post some good timings for local 6 yo girls for front crawl and breaststroke?
Or provide links to local swim times for young kids?
People who have seen my girl swim say she is good.
I only have some US and Canadian timings for comparisons.
(Over there, their 6 yo girls are doing 22-24s for 30m frontcrawl, while my girl is doing 29s)
My girl started at a public pool since 3.5 yo and her coach advised me to send her for competitive swimming at clubs… so I enrolled her in APS.
However, APS assesses her and places her in Learn To Swim program as she needs to improve her backcrawl and learn butterly.
I do some stamina training for her on a week day (covering only 800m-1km) and she has 2 stroke training sessions on weekends.
Any suggestion on how I can help her while she progresses with her strokes? -

You want to join...hehe..nah joking only! -
My girl has just been invited to join APS Junior competitive squad.
Will be increasing her training to min 3 x 2h a week.
When she settles into her routine in P1 next year, and if she is able to, will increase it to 4 or 5 x 2h.
Commitmment is really important, expecially from parents. I am afraid I am the one who can’t take it. hahahaha -
Yes it's the parents who's the chauffeur , assistance coach, masseuse , training partner...etc...lol
APS is a legend already................
