      Hi Fatty Mum

I’ve seen several of them at Robinsons Shoes dept, at Raffles and centrepoint, last year and early this year. Their name tags have the distinct myan names, female and male. I think also in URS or Hush puppy shops also.

That ex myan maid; after loan paid off, told me that her sister is coming to sg for a hotel job, her brother is journalist, her cousin already here for maid job and her other relatives coming so she needs to have hp. I told her that contract states no hp, no off day and I let the agency speak to her on speaker phone. 2 days later, she told me she’s not happy, want to go back myanmar. Good riddence to bad rubbish, I sent her home.

I think these burmese has loads of pride. Mine told me that she didn’t need to send money home because they don’t need money at home. Her parents told her to go and send her salary on whatever she likes. Then she said that she was going home to be a boss cos she is going to buy over a gas station business from a relative. I wonder how when she had spent most of her $$$.

Complained that Singapore lobsters are not tasty like the ones she eats back home all the time. Hmm… I wonder why she’s working as a maid.

My first myan maid left clumps of mense blood in the toilet bowl. I came home from work one day and walk into the kitchen, caught this foul smell. Went into the toilet, looked into the toilet bowl, all bloody water and clumps of blood. Asked her what is all this, is she sick or menses. She looked at me blank, would not answer.

This is the same maid that refuse to shower the 1st and 2nd night when I brought her home. After 3 weeks, refuse to work, so I had to bring her back to the agency. She tried to make IDD calls. My house phone had a log so I know all the last 20 numbers dialed. Lied about her work, the house and everything is filthy. Everytime I returned home, she is in the kitchen. I’ll walk into her room and check her bed, it’s always messy and warm, so I know she’s been lying in bed this whole time till I ring the door bell.

The 2nd myan maid, lying about her work, house is filthy. Prepare raw food and touching all other plates, plastic wrap etc without washing hands first, just transfering germs. No common sense.

2 myan maids 3 weeks and 7 months, broke more than 30 items…more than any of my indo maids added together in the last 11 years.

What pride? Shame or lack of shame is more like it. Couldn’t care less… I think. I do the chores, hands on to show/teach them, there is a file with photos and instructions. All these instructions/house rules are translated at the agency before i bring them home.

              Hi fifiyeo

Did you ask her why she’s working as a maid here? looks like your maid is flaunting her wealth to you.

Oh I think she tried to pretend that she was mistress of the house. I wear polo-ts so she also must buy t-shirts with colars to wear when working. Parading around to show off to the maid across our house. Every time buying new clothes. I sure agree she's weathier than me. I don't wear my clothes for just 3 months. She does.

So happening!! This type of maid must be shown to MOM. This quality of maid is one of the lowest ranking. Fifiyeo, u shld tell her amongst the helpers, she is the type that cant work n she shld not even open any biz if she doesnt want to learn to get her hands dirty.

We, employers have to tolerate crap from them. I often tell my maid that she won't survive in another household whether in Singapore or Malaysia. I already knew of 3 former maids of mine who don't last more than 8 months when they were transferred out to another employer. I m quite easy going as long as the house is clean and good behaviour from her. Yet the maids cannot even behave themselves.
😓 they think they are head of household.

I am empolyer of maid for over 12 years. I have about 10 maids. As short as 1 month and as long as 4 yrs.

But generally, most maids will work well for me for 6 mths (training period and loan payment), thereafter I will have to tolerate all their nonsense for 3-6 mths, than I or maid will surrender. This apply all nationlity (Filipono, Indonesian, Myanmarese). The whole cycle go round and round that every year need to keep my leaves for this use.

I really hope one day, I can say no more maid! I will held a party and share my maid free with all of you!
