Oh, i wouldn't say he's good in Math, just that it's his best subject compared to the rest ... Oh, you dun have to be good in Math to take NMOS, the school will ask kids to take part. Just curious what he gets for NMOS
But that's one kid in his class got # 19 in NMOS, for P4 considered very good

Hi Parents, My DD will be in P3 (2013) , read from MOE website All selected P3 pupils will be tested on GEP. Can any experience parents Advise how should I prepare my DD, any way I can buy pass year GEP papers? Thanks in advance
Hi Kiasu Daddy :
My DD did not attend any GEP preparatory class or getting GEP papers for revision. Math can be a killer paper especially for kids who do not have solid foundation. DD’s former classmate was strong in languages but struggled for her Math which she did not make it after 2nd round. You can leverage on heuristics qns which come helpful and revise ahead other than P3 syllabus cos some qns are fr P4 level as well. If yr DD has the drive and motivation, she will definitely spur for greater heights. Hope this helps. -

Huh? Sori , if u know dat kid is # 19, how come u dun know yr ds result? Sori I am quite blur on this cos ds school only sends p5 students to participate.Just4Fun:

DS brought back the maths paper today. His class average is 37 and the highest is full marks. Heard from my ds that the Eng paper will be returned after Sep holiday. I'm quite worried abt the Eng paper as ds always makes careless mistake such as incorrect spelling of words, mistakes in copying sentences, etc.
Bravo to the child on the perfect score. The highest score in my DD's sch is 49 and is a girl. Hope that HCL and Eng will release early prior to school holidays so that we can use the excuse to tell our kids...... See.. din score well, right? Stay in house for this Sep holidays to do extra revision. Haha ! -
Thanks Gifted Gem.

Same here, both my DS never take any preparatory courses, anyway, dun think have that during my DS1's time :scratchhead: , I just let them try, can then go, cannot, then stay put. But for my DS2, DS1 did brief him about some possible questions, though not in details, maybe that's why DS2 can get in ... dun ask me what questions ... bcos I dun knowHi Parents, My DD will be in P3 (2013) , read from MOE website All selected P3 pupils will be tested on GEP. Oh, it's open for P4 & P5, but most schools will only send P5s to partcipate. -
Hi dagong99, so your DS1 also in GEP?
Checked with DS, yes you are right, one boy in their class got full marks, the one best in Math. He is also the one got ranking in NMOS.
