When a young child cries, there normally is a reason why the child cries. When people express anti-foreigners sentiment, there is also reason why people express such sentiment lah.

You are not a young child lah. We expect more from adults than just crying. Are there problems with the current immigration policy? Sure. But we expect rational adults to direct their complaints etc against those specific policies, and we can have a debate about them. We can even call the ruling party stupid or question their motives for having implemented some of those policies we strongly disagree with. But there should be no room for bigotry in our society.

Nothing to do with GEP...this is HCL or non-HCL šŸ˜‰

precisely because I am not from GEP, that is why I could not even differentiate that HCL is non-GEP.....eh, you nebbermind right?[/quote]GEP got test chinese meh? šŸ˜† I'm not nebbermind. I follow the cows. :rotflmao:

those who are frequent travellers are not allowed to have REP of more than 5 years

some of them lost their PR because their Singapore employer sent them overseas, and the family in Singapore becomes åŠå¤©ęŽ‰

              Should be \"吊\" and not \"ꎉ\" šŸ˜„ ..

šŸ˜† Actually hang half way or drop half way, here it seem to make no difference. :rotflmao:

Children live their growing up lives depending on parents/guardians and some depend forever.
                    Therein lies the mindset difference.

A person who cannot speak his/her mind in a way that can properly express their inner voice is no different from a crying child.

For those in bold, I don't see talk shows that invite people on the street to openly discuss issues - is there?

Perhaps some people do not have that educational level or self-confidence to debate on the same level that is considered 'rational' and 'acceptable'. They probably don't know many terms that can better help them express themselves. But do we know their language to speak at their level so that mutual understanding can be achieved? It is easier said than done - in this sense too, don't you think?
