      sleepy:
      MummyThreeStreams:

I knew how to do housework, coz no maid before that, but it was a huge challenge to manage on my own with one child. 6 years later, I find myself overseas again with no help and with three children!!!

I was worried about how I would cope since I had a tough time the last time round. But I guess I have learnt a few tricks over the years! It has been much easier than anticipated. Very tiring coz I am on the job all day long with no help at all, but I am managing!! Have become very efficient! Good at delegating to my minions (DS1 and DS2) too!

      :salute:
      Did you homeschool your kids?

I already ๐Ÿ˜“ with 2 kids. Factory closed permanently for 3rd.
Sometimes my mom would comment that we should have tried for a 3rd child. I asked her 'would you be helping to babysit?' She :siam:
      End of discussion :rotflmao:

I don't fully home-school them. It's the summer vacation now so the kids are at home. But they will go to school in September! I still teach them the Singapore math and Chinese though. But it's so hard to manage it coz the baby is always wanting attention and the older ones will play with each other instead of work!

I agree that no matter how busy we are at home we must go and do our own thing! So I arrange to meet friends at least once a week. Gotta bring kids along now coz no babysitter. In Singapore i used to go meet friends and exercise and leave the kids with the grandparents.

SAHM here too ๐Ÿ™‚ im a foreigner and we're living here in SG for almost 4yrs now. used to work in my home country but decided to be a SAHM when we relocated here.

it wasn't easy at first. especially with a toddler. but now, it is much more manageable and i get to have some ME time when DD is at school. she'll be in P1 next year so i'll have more ME time. :rahrah:

it is important for us to meet up with friends and have some ME time every once in a while. i go out with my single friend every month. just to eat out or have a massage or go shopping.
i also have some mommy friends but can't always go out with them because they are FTWM. we usually just see each other in birthday parties.
lately, i've been organizing some gimmicks with the GFs/wives of hubby's friends. i do this so i have something else to do with girlfriends. and so i can schedule it on my free time. hahaha. i also like going out with them because i can task hubby (and his friends) to take care of DD and for the guys to just stay home while the girls are out. :rotflmao:

i get burned out sometimes too. especially because we dont have help and i do everything. hubby helps a lot but it can still get very tiring. but if you'll ask me if i still want to be a SAHM on my down days, i'd still say yes. i just need a breather, but i won't give up. ๐Ÿ™‚

LOLMum, why not use your phone to record ? I use my iPhone to record dates of my dd exams, my grocery list and stuff like that. Most of the time we bring our phone with us when we go out right?
