Hi, nearby Aljunied mrt has a temple teaching the above classics. Will post here the contact after searching.

I recite with my 6 yo son since he was 4yo.

Alternatively you could check out 净宗佛堂,it teaches di zhi GUI.

Hi all, may I know where can learn 弟子规 in Singapore? I have been searching for many days but still not manage to find. Please help. Thank you.

U mean go to some kind of school to learn? I dont send my child to any classes specifically for 弟子规。 initially I bought some books and then a cd to learn myself (shame shame, cos I don't know prior to that). Then I teach my child to recite (just recite first). Now the child care centre is teaching them.

Yes, I hope they can learn the meaning for all the words in 弟子规. Recently I noticed my children very bad temper and bad attitude. 😓

Hug them more. Works on mine every time. Children are funny little beings. They sometimes think we really don't love them anymore when we scold them. It's a vicious cycle. The more they get on your nerves, the more you blow your top on them. Then the more they feel you don't love them. And all the more they don't comply.

But, by all means, introduce your children to 弟子规。 I started my child with 三字经. Someone told me it is easier, dunno how true but hey, it seriously kick started the rest of the 经 !

Hi, I got 3 children. How to hug ALL in one? 😉
My intention is to let them learn the meaning, (in fact, adult also can learn) as according to my observation, children know 孝顺.....more easy to handle while they grow/become teenagers

I introduced my child 论语when she was 4yrs old, then 弟子规, 千字文及三字经 one year later. Only made her memorize 论语 and revised monthly for the past 3years.
