yes. I heard that some students compulsory, must see specific teacher.
others must book via parents portal from 03.09.12 onwards.
why some are compulsory while others are not?

if your kids are ok, then not compulsory.
teachers see those that don't behave and/or results not good

teachers see those that don't behave and/or results not good
This has been so since last year when parents received different coloured forms - to differentiate those who must meet and those who are optional. Those compulsory ones already have time slots allocated. The online slots are for optional appointments.

May I check for P3 students, are they allowed to take more than 1 CCA?

DS is interested in both Badminton and Basketball. Wonder can he takes 2?
Is he good at both sports? Especially for badminton, the school will select the better players or those who have potential to join the school team. Most CCA is on Wed & your son is unable to join both if they are the same timing. There will be a lot of training for sport & he will have less time to complete his homework. It is Ok to join 2 CCA, preferably not both sports.
Actually I asked my girl why she was given the form and she told cos she told her form teacher I want to see her. She asked her form teacher for the form. She told me her whole class got the form except for one whom the mother always met the teacher at the gate.

Not sure abt badminton but ds was able to train for basketball selection last term & during june hol. He goes for track & field in term 3&4. Good that sch allows them to explore their interest this way.

I m not a member but I heard there r events/ outings that members r invited/helpout so will get to know sch better. More details during orientation.

It also gives out 5 yrs service award to volunteers & the ceremony is during ur p6 kid's graduation ceremony, so u will get to share e event, as usually only parents of award winners r invited.

You don't have to be active to join PSG. You can go to NCPS website to find out more or sign up. Currently, they are looking for volunteer to help up in the coming Children's Day fun fair. You can volunteer in library duties, road safety etc. It all depends on your interest & how much time you can spare. I used to help up in the library when my son had supplementary classes.

He is joining the badminton classes with the school Alumni now and very interested in it. Should be able to get selected for school team for badminton.

For basketball, he seem interested but so far no exposure to it.
