My colleague just told me that there is a book on how to teach grammers, it is sold in popular bookstore...but no sure what's the title of the book. Anyone knows?

why don’t you go browse the books…? try to get those with explantion followed by practices.

I am just interested to know why you choose fairfield primary school for your kids? I am contemplating to enrol my girl in 2011 but I have not heard any good feedback from this website.
is it a neighbourhood school after all?
how about the teaching standards?

Hi, I chose Fairfield because I was an old girl there. It is a government-aided school, not a neighbourhood school.

but neighbourhood schools ain't so bad eh? For me its near my house, and provides the Christian background that is important to me.

My boy is going to Fairfield next year, he is keen to join the badminton club.

May I know can P1 students take CCA? He is also interested in the chess club.

Fairfield's modular CCA is only opened to students who are P3 and above, something that I am not too happy about.

Thanks for the reply. That's not too good news for my boy. He saw some students playing badmintion on the registration day and wanted very much to join them.

BTW, I read somewhere that they have gymnastics for P1/P2, do u know what it is about?

It's built into the PE curriculum. I think we paid a nominal fee (of $10?)through the EduSave fund - at the end of the year, your child will receive a certificate of participation ...
