JC Literature - surely the most challenging subject to teach

Anyway, it has always taken guts to choose to be examined in humanities subjects instead of math or science subjects since it's much easier to mug an A for those subjects. But those with a love for the subject will have no regrets, whatever the grade. I was glad I took it as one of my subjects, and the 'S' paper too.

It is too \"subjective\"....

i.e. depends on whether the examiner agree or disagree with your views or the way you write..

Actually it depends on how convincing your arguments are.

I think the most subjective humanities subject is history. A favourite topic-Middle East Conflict.

Actually the humanities are less subjective than outsiders perceive. It is usually quite clear what makes a good paper and what doesn’t. It’s around this level that rote regurgitation ceases to be effectual. Flowery posturing becomes painfully obvious. Clear analysis and strength of thought usually prevails in the eyes of experienced examiners.
