Any of your children having problem in HYPY? My son scored very very low in his first assessment test in HYPY (last in the class) and don't think he can improve further but I was told he's not so important when he goes in upper primary.

I would not say that HYPY is not important in upper primary as I see in my P4 DD1, they are still being tested for HYPY in the 填写音节 section

Usually the assessment of 情景對話 is only following what's the script of the handout from the teacher or it will vary and the script is only a sample for the students to practice?

Both my DDs have finished their Chinese Oral in school and Yes, those scripts and pictures are for a guide and to practise at home. But for P1, the pictures are quite similar (for my P1 DD2 case) - 学校，公园，游乐场

hi my DD1 is going to P1 next yr. She is quite weak in hypy and I intend to teach her myself every weekend, using her current K2 sch materials. But would anyone know whether this is a good app on iPad that I can download for her? Kids learn much faster using Apps.

You can try 拼音100分. It has pictures and games which will capture the kids' attention.

hi,

both 自行车 and 脚踏车can be found in Chinese dictionary. They mean the same. However, 脚踏车is commonly used locally while in China, they use 自行车. Hope that answers your qn.

So they are totally different.....
