My son's last Chinese test is a disaster. I actually went through 45 units with him. 45 units for a mini test?!?! Anyway, he also forgot most of it. Trying so hard...

Ya, same here. Chinese revision is a disaster. My boys forgot most of the words. It is impossible to understand all the 词语 and yet they are tested. Then there is compo and diff types of oral. Next English, haven't finished revising stellar worksheets, then realised there is HM ones too. Then realised that need to go thru spelling lists just to answer 2 editing qns which is 1 mark each. Oh mine! I thot people say P1 n P2 are honeymoon?
Can't imagine what's after P2.

Hi nonKiasu, may I know which class is your kid from? My kid seems to have little homework...:S but chinese test is still ongoing every week. Same for spelling and \"ting xie\".[/quote]I am referring to the revision for term 3 tests. So many things that don't know where to start.

Any re-test? How they calculate marks if no re-test? My DS2 was down with HFMD during the Chinese's LangDu test. He was given a re-test the following week. The passage was harder and so he did worse than his brothers

haiz, the problem is re-test is only on the very next day after the actual test, but she is down the very moment after her english test. so no more re-test. i guess they will be accessed based on the no of test taken....

Results not back yet right? I think most of our kids will only get back their papers tomorrow, so exciting …

And not sure why they have still not announced on the AM session for P3 next year. Hope there is not going to be a last minute change.
