I think a lot of students are happy to take the HCL O levels in Sec 4 and not have to take it at A levels.

I happen to know of two HCI boys who are in JC 2 this year, they scored D6 and D7 but were required to take MT in JC1 to retake the exams. For Raffles JC is like what you stated.
This may be a factor in deciding between HCI and RI for some?

Anyone knows if the school will provide remedial lessons for those who are weaker in certain subjects ? If so, only in P5 onwards ?

Gotten the HCL paper back . Apparently, DD used her 'own words freely' and ended up with lots of crosses. Overall score is 15/ 26. Real killer.....[/quote]Seen the paper yesterday, DS2 got the front part all correct but lost all his marks in Comprehension, .... but he did got the question 一寸光阴一寸金，寸金难买寸光阴 correct. Wonder how's the EL paper ... another killer ... ?!

To my understanding, there shd be remedial class for the weaker students.. already on-going in P4.
