How to answer (a) ? :imdrowning:

      Thanks:)

a i. The place the experiments is conducted.

a ii. The distance of the string from the each desk.

      b. The weights when the bridge just collapsed. The greatest reading (weight) is the one with the strongest beam.

      Hi
The place differs the size of the beam. But the mass remains the same when the beam expands or contracts.Another alternative is the type of string must be the same.
      Cheers

Please remember that it is not poor conductor of electricity but is electrical insulator. Only poor conductor of heat no electricity

                      Hi
The answer is definetly option 4 as gravitational force is constant on the ball even if the ball is in the air.

                      Cheeers
