For those who are keen, do try to apply after the result. My son didn't manage to be shortlisted but he did well for psle. He applied again after psle result and was shortlisted without interview. He is now doing well and adapting well, and coping well too. So, Don't give up! :xedfingers:

Hi,notfreemom:
Hi,
I understand that flies can be a real irritant in Australia, especially in summer. I would like to know how is the fly situation during early December? I am considering farm stay in Melbourne, but afraid that flies will 'scare ' my kids away.
Please advice!
Also what would be the temperature during early December?
Thanks.
A few yrs back,we family of 8 went to Perth in December, those flies were the most memorable in our trips. They will cling onto your blouse even you are walking. They will follow you wherever you go. My mother in law used a scarf to cover her face .Our trip is all about Flies
Thanks!
Flight already booked. So how??? Anything can prevent the flies? -

RE: Temasek Junior College [*IP]
" For one reason or another, after O levels, students, if eligible for both schools will choose VS first and those who end up in TJ are those who cannot make it to VS. So I am really expecting my parents, relatives to question my choice of TJ over VS/VJ."
This year is the first batch of 6years IP for TJC.
No one knows 6 years later which school will be better. If you think TJC is more suitable and most importantly your son likes the school, why not ?
Last year my dd insisted to choose TJC even though I preferred the other. I think she has made a right choice. Just to share with you… -
