Simple is good. I am all for simple classic look. But this is PJs and bedroom slippers. And really what is with that ring?

On second thoughts, it must be the jade ring that she wants to wear that landed her in that outfit. After browsing through her wardrobe...conclusion as follows:

          1. She is more suited to dresses or skirts than pants. Somehow the cutting of the pants so far are all wrong on her.... Her tailor seems to tailor for circus pants..... :slapshead: CMI tailor..

          2. She loves to wear ethnic wear, maybe she needs to represent Singapore's multicultural background... but somehow they end up as rojak.....uniquely Singapore but not quite what we want to be leh....

Actually she represents us when she travels, so should we not be interested in her wardrobe....we should right?

This outfit would have made her look better, the styling is better and it is a dress.

I think the green/jade ring was digitally add on for the Green Lantern joke by Mr Brown?

I cannot see the ring in the earlier pic.
Think I am old school. I much prefer a down to earth First Lady to a flamboyant one.

so is that colour considered as down to earth or flamboyant

Think she is more comfy in muted shades but she had to find something to wear for dinner ma. Cant look like a Comrade esp in sunny Singapore. So she uses colour to give an ethnic slant. Just that it didnt work on her. She certainly doesn't have an image consultant or hair stylist.

I am glad she is not dripping with blinks like some neighbouring leaders' wives. Simple is good.
Yes. Simple is good...Look at Kate... Simple and Classy. I am looking for simple and classy..... I don't fancy walking Christmas trees too... :rotflmao:
