Suicide - Do not involve the children

I know, I have ever \"entertained\" thoughts of suicide but never ever get the kids involved. You brought them into this world, they deserve to find a better life than you next time in the future, DO NOT take this CHANCE away from them.
Whatever sadness or unhappiness has happened, had happened
It is not their fault....

Then who will take care of the toddler otherwise?

Good point phankao, but you see if the suicide-tendency parent think for the children in the way cfan is suggesting, then your thought process of \"Who will take care of the toddler?\" will kick in and in the end, the suicide-tendency person may not commit suicide. But if the thought process is only \"Who will take care of the toddler?\", then of course the answer is ME and off the toddler goes with the ME..... So cfan's suggestion is worth a thought if it can prevent a suicide from happening. JMHO.

JMHO.[/quote]I am afraid the thought of getting rid of the exasperating toddler situation has been so strong for me many many times over the last 18yrs since I've started being a parent with my 1st child that I can totally understand.

As such, I can never say it's \"wrong\", nor it's \"right\".

Most just do not understand.

Most just do not understand.[/quote]If the toddler is the cause of the suicide tendency, then \"who will take care of the toddler\" may not kick in, in that case the toddler is being murdered and the adult dies along due to guilt. Every mom would have gone through some amount pain of adjusting to a new member in the house. I had a difficult one myself and I agree it was very trying, hence I have no more.... I agree to no judging and there was none here but encourage moms in danger to think of positive thoughts is always a good piece of advice.
