During boarding, if u do your own laundry, is there place to hang ? In the room or in common area ? Is the floor in the room clean or get dusty easily ? Must put on footwear in the room ? There is ceiling fan right ? Is there a need to bring portable fan/table lamp ?

No laundry line. There are dryers for you to dry your laundry.

Floor/tables/cupboards/etc, you have to clean it yourself. There are mops/pails available for your use in the washing/utility areas. But I just get my child those Kao Magic Cleaning Mop where you put a disposable cleaning wipe on to use. He's been using for 3 boarding years already. Everytime, I just buy a few packs of the cleaning wipes. I buy some for floor, some for mirror, and some for desktop/cupboards/other surface, etc.

Footwear outside room. There is a rack.

There is ceiling fan. But can be hot too, so many still bring a fan. Table lamp, up to you. Might be useful for the times you want to read or do some work, but your roommate wants to sleep.

There are table lamps installed in the rooms already.

        Hi,

For JH1 boarding, we buy \"single\" bed linen?

        Thanks.

Hello, the bed sheets will be provided by the school.

        Thanks.

Glad to have this forum. Everyone is so helpful. :rahrah: :lovesite: :thankyou:

JH1 completed first week of boarding and just checked in for their second week.

DS had a great time at boarding. All went smoothly and laundry service was smooth too. Got back his clothes that he sent. No problem. šŸ™‚

:thankyou: to everyone of KSP who have given advice on boarding esp Phankao and Jennifer. Much appreciated! šŸ™‚

Boarding isn't really as scary as you think! Just a lot of inconvenience(during check out, that is) šŸ™‚

Once the children become \"seasoned\" boarders, parents need not worry anymore.
