Hi everyone
I have a boy born in 2008 and considering which school for him.
Like to hear mummies and daddies' view on the following and any other feedback is much appreciated :please:
1. How does the school approach learning (eg. explorative, drills/worksheets, multi-approach etc)
2. How much emphasis on character and non academic?
3. What is the school culture and what do they really value?
grateful for this forum to be able to learn from experienced parents ! thank you so much :grphug: -
Hi All,
would be good info for me too.
my son is going into DLS primary one next year.
Most of my friends children are already starting classes and orientation this month and next month, but DLS is only doing it on 27 Dec 2012. (There goes my last week usual holidays overseas. Not got to change my plans).
Does DLS has any unique culture we can be aware of?
Thanks, :lovesite: -
Hi All again,
anyone has an idea of how to contact the parents support group? would like to join and learn from them. Thanks. -
You can call the De La Salle office to enquire about joining the PSG.

$20 / mth?nearest student care is in Yew Tee CC at level 4. From teck whye, quite a number of students take school bus and drop off in front of CC. care taker will come down to level 1 to pick up from road side to zebra crossing.
if next yr school move back to old location, care taker from center will walk over to school to bring students to cross the traffic light to center, formerly center charge me $20/mth.
u right, Lasallian leader is prefect. -

Hi DLS parents, just wanna share my thots.
Kid in p6, in fact, sitting for psle HMT paper right now.. :xedfingers:
It's been a great journey for us thru the 6 yrs, DLS has been great, kid has been given ample opportunities to develop in many areas.
Memories of the first yr are still fresh in my mind.. the uncertainties of a new school, whether it is the \"right\" school, teachers, environment etc..
And now.. 6 yrs just flies by so quickly. Feeling a bit sad to leave a familiar environment to embark on a new journey. As someone said, every school has its fair share of good & * teachers. We are heartened to have met good caring teachers that go the extra mile, and which I'm sure will remain friends for years to come.
I remember being kancheong about school stuff, but looking back now, it seems a bit silly  shouldn't have stressed myself out then !
Anyway, don't want to bore you guys lah ..
ciao for now :boogie:
