      Ya...why?
      just checking.
some ppl think its just hocus pocus.
me witnessed 1st hand d aftermath of a possessed person before during army days.

U may be familiar with dis Marsiling knoll dat is sparsely vegetated at d top n has a narrow track running ard it.
Tombstones can be seen dispersed ard d top n in d thicker undergrowth adjacent to d track.
D undergrowth next to d track is a gud site for setting up ambushes.
One of my sections set up an ambush over there during one training stint.
Suddenly, d section leader ran up to me, in panic mode, n said he has a man in serious difficulty.
I rushed over, by then d section mates had carried d soldier into an open area.
I saw a soldier in sporadic spasm, eyes rolled back with only d whites visible, n foaming at d mouth.
In reality, I also don’t know wat to do except activate immediately for d safety rover to bring d soldier for immediate medical attention.
Fortunately I had a soldier who is a practicing Tangkee in civilian life.
He saw dat dis other soldier was possessed.
He held his forehead, mumbled some words, gave him a sudden slap on d forehead.
Bingo, d possessed soldier was dispossessed n returned to his normal self again.

Wow. And how did the possessed soldier behaved after that? Any recollection of what caused it? Or what he was doing before he got possessed?

            In Memory of W.

1990 summer, a group of 6 girls took a short holiday to Macau; staying at Mandarin Oriental Macau, located at the quieter side of the city. They shared 3 rooms, room 1618, 1620 and 1622.

            …

On the first night, girls settled down late, all hyped about the day’s excitement and all the girlie chit chat, at 1+am, everyone bid good night and returned to their rooms.

I was sharing a twin-bed room, room 1618, with my best buddy, W.
After washed up I fell asleep almost immediately, but W was the more ai-sui one, taking her time in the bathroom.

About 3+am, I was jolted up from my deep sleep, and shocked to see that W, lying on her bed, but was kicking furiously and making some muffled gurgling and croaking with chokes. Her hands as if were prying something out from her throat and her legs were kicking high struggling hard. I stood there frozen for a good while before I dashed to her side, yelling her name and reached to her hands trying to pacify her, but her fingers were almost blue of exerting too much strength seemingly grabbing on something that she wanted to yank out, but there wasn’t anything visible that was chocking her!! I tried desperately to wake her up thinking that she might be choked by phlegm or her own vomit. Then the scariest thing unfolded in front of my eyes, a choking ring mark started to appear on her neck, while her hands were some 2 inches above her neck trying hard to pry open her "invisible assailant", the choking ring mark on her neck got darker within a mere 1 to 2 seconds, her eyes were popping out and tears flowed non stop and her tongue was sticking out… That was the scariest moment in my life, I left the door opened and ran to the next door 1620 for help, when we return, the room door of 1618 was locked, from inside!!! While the rest of the girls were screaming and crying, I passed out…

When I regained conscious, I was in an ambulance, being transport to the A&E. W was warded for "injuries", she couldn’t speak for some 3 months before regaining her voice.

She was so traumatized that she refused to step out of her house, stop socializing, and stop going for lessons.

4 months went passed but with no "improvement", her parents finally agreed that she needed psychiatrist help. But, it didn’t help her much too…

Hongkonger are superstitious in nature, though they are Christians but her parents decided to seek help from a famous taoist temple at Kowloon. I accompanied my terrified buddy, together with her parents n younger sister, we visited the temple and as we walked passed all the fortune tellers’ stalls at the gate of the temple, one very old and blind 算命佬 yelled at us, "Stop there! Don’t enter!" that shocked everyone, we stood there wondered what’s wrong, he approached us, though he is blind but he managed to "identify" W, he reached out to grab her left hand and said to her: "you shouldn’t have extracted your front teeth! Now your luck has run out!"…

(For aesthetic reason, W extracted her 4 mis-aligned front teeth for denture, but only few that are close to her knew about it…)

            …

W did not complete her degree course and was never married, she migrated to Canada with her parents in 1997 where she remained a psychiatric patient.

She passed away peacefully in Toronto at the age of 35.

Reminds me of reservist. At some locaitions, we were told that we need not take up some defensive position by hiding among the bushes coz the area 'not clean'. Was also told to stay close to one another.
