May her soul rest in peace.
Just curious, as what was on your mind when you were typing such a question to me....
Btw, it's not the current Mandarin Oriental Hotel; it's the previous one... maybe those in doubt can book herself into that room 1618 for a night... just google for the old Mandarin Oriental Hotel, it's still there, but changed ownership, changed name. -
Mamago, :hugs: to you.
Just chanced upon your post. Had goosebumps reading it.
Did your friend seek treatment from the temple? What was the outcome? Did her parents ever try any other alternative treatments? -
mamago:
r u referring to d hotel previously known as Mandarin Hotel at Orchard Rd?

At first I seriously thought this story is from somewhere else and you're just quoting it. Oh my, I am so sorry to hear about this, and my heart goes out to you and your friend's family. May your friend W rest in peace! It must have been a traumatic experience for you too! -

Hi, AutumnBronze.
Thanks for the :hugs:
Yes, she did went thru some sort of taoistism rituals but did not help....
She became reclusive, withdrawn and aggressive at times, she could cried loudly all night long, banging on her parents/sister's room door asking to be let in but only for less than 5 minutes she would wandered out, and this could repeat all night long.... She injured one of her psychiatrist with a pen, the wounds was so deep that it required stitches... Things got better only after she was put on medication, but she was never fully \"recovered\".
Canada was a better place for her, she stayed in an institute that took very good care of her. She passed away in 2005 due to other medical condition. -

Sorry, :hugs: Concern2, I misunderstood your post; I was too emotional... This is the first time I discuss it after so many years..it took me so long to pen out this dark memory.... And, I never set foot to Macau after that trip. -

:grphug: Didn't know it was something so personal when you wanted to share it. Must be tough on you.
After you've penned it today, guess you can let go and start your way to a full healing.
