So, your character, did not do it, after all?! (after hearing Valvestate's confession?)
Oh :scared: ....?! Joule! You are doing the fiction for some sort of a closure? *sigh* *sigh* *sigh*
To tell people moral of the story... -
Man ah man :slapshead: .... God's marvelous creature, whom the rib came a woman....

valvestate:
She was not actually asking much in my family. Though she's a bit fond with the pictures of my kid on my monitor. I find it awkward that I will talk about my wife since we're not going to that topic... or maybe I'm just avoiding it to not spoil the conversation...
Honestly, at times... I can't help it. I know how to speak to women. I just know what tickles them and make them feel comfortable... I had some issues before with me dating multiple women when I was still in college. Some are serious... some were just flings.. I stopped when I got married and had a kid... that was 8 years ago. Until now...Joule:
friendly and professional is ok. but you know you're getting on the wrong highway when you're flirting
ok ok from this it seems like it is infatuation or a crush... it's a teenage thing. unusual to have it in 30s but hey it still happens
some behavior modification would be needed. does she outright come to ask you for lunch?
yeah... I hope this is just the case. As much as I easily fall for a woman, I can get easily get turned off as well on even minute things. I hope this will pass by.... but the feeling's so strong now.
yeah, she will just come over my desk and say \"You wanna go out lunch with me?\" or she drops me an IM to schedule it in advance.Joule:
then it would be time to take evasive maneuvers....or find safety in numbers...or mention more of your wife and kid around her. Show her pictures. If she's 'not safe', you should be able to find a little facial twitch or slightest hint of a frown....
Is she just going out with me since I'm the manager and she doesn't want to get a negative impression while she's still new here? I'm still not finding any faults with her work yet so she's still fine.
Btw, thank you very much for responding with my post man. It really helps me a lot to assess this and release the tension.
This is the tricks! That's how it's play out... poor you.... -
3 tips:
1. If one can walk away from temptation, you become a stronger person.
2. Think of your children perhaps, how you can face up to them when you have no baggage on you, then you will think before you leap.
3. Oh another help you can get, go and watch \"Fatal Attraction\" again, it may scare the wits out of you and you will never dare to venture...

Think about it, what is more important to you??? Whatever you do, pls think of the consequences before the temptations.
Your job? Your family or the woman that you kept fantisizing about??? Just imagine what happens if you lose your job as a result of this affair? Will you still think of that woman? What happens if in a moment of folly you did something wrong and your wife knows about it? She will probably be very very angry, stop trusting and maybe wants to divorce you??? Meanwhile for the girl, do you think she is happy to treat as though nothing happened??? What if something happened and she demands more and more??? Is that what you want?
Having said that always remember people around the both of you (your colleagues) are not blind. It will soon become very obvious and people might speculate/ gossip. Is that what you want from a professional POV? If not, it’s better to steer clear now and don’t leave a bad name for yourself.
Also, try inviting other colleagues to have lunch together.
