We have the above booklet you posted. But there are a lot of unknown words inside which son said he finds it difficult to sieve out which need to know and which don't need.

am also looking for tuition for her in English and science. currently she is attending Mindstretcher at Toa payoh. wondering if I should change..ESP. the English as I know they like their science tuition teacher but she hasn't done that well... grades barely improved too despite doing papers, tuition etc.

Veraclari, I was told that MS is good for Science tuition. Perhaps u want to move her to Bishan Branch which I think has much better facility. The one in toapayoh : is this the same one near Bradell MRT ? I feel this tuition centre very small & teachers are not so great.

My girl taking Science at MS Toa payoh, grades hardly improved… that’s why I’m looking at other tuition centres… as well as looking for English as well…
I mean… i do not expect huge improvements from Group tuition, but am hoping that at least some…

Am i wrong to expect that? Improvement from group tuitions? As on one hand, i think it is reasonable for me to expect that… on the other hand… it boils down to the students, our kids right? SIgh…

I am pretty alright for them to be kinda independent, improve and take time to work on it… but frankly my elders, their grandparents think otherwise - NO Time Liao! So must "Chop Chop!" which i kinda agree, but also depends on the kids right? So… my dilemma…

Bishan is the headqtr; so it shd be better equipped than most other branchers. Not to imply others is no good, but my DS had been to both TP & Bishan for Eng, and we find BS is better, in terms of his teacher & the facility.

U can also consider \"The Learning Lab\" tuition center from Novena Sq, most will claim it is a premier tuition center .

Whether 1-to-1 tuition or group tuition will depend on the individual kid... some will enjoy more in group ( more people => more fun=> more enjoyable in learning). However, for kid who is relatively weak in the subject, I believe individual attention is better . JMHO. :siam:

My kid has not been to MS for Sci, but I was told that their notes are very good.
