My dd is not in P3 this year but Herbie's daughter is. My P1 dd is under Ms Lim. How about yours?

Not to worry about CCA in P1. Those mentioned during the Orientation day is optional, mainly come with enrichment classes. There are a lot more CCAs to join in P4. They will be given the forms when school re-opens.

I am not sure if they still have exams for P1 next year. Academically bright students will be grouped into one/two classes. The students do not stay in the same class throughout their 6 years. However, all the students are given chances to excel in all area regardless of whether they are academically strong or not.

Details of Admission Tests
Levels which test will be administered:
Primary 1 (2010)
Date of test:Sat, 16 Jan 2010

Deadline for submission of the ”Application for Admission Test” form is on Wed, 6 Jan 2010 by 5 pm. Late applications will not be accepted.

Time:9.45 am – 12.30 pm
Reporting time for Registration:9.00 am

Item required for registration:
A photo ID (EZ-link card or passport)

Items required for test:
Photo ID, stationery & snacks/water

Subjects to be tested:
English Language, Mathematics, Mother Tongue (except for pupils who have obtained exemption from Mother Tongue from MOE)

Duration of each paper:
45 min for each (followed by a short break in between papers).

Payment:
Singapore citizens are to pay an administrative fee of $25/- per applicant.

Hi! I am new here! My daughter is in SCGS too! She will be p6 next year. She's taking higher chinese. the PSLE is next year, so, I am also quite nervous for her. :roll: Oh, i heard that they have raise the cut-off point for the primary school girls to get into the secondary school. It is 210. Then, for the p4s,(this year), it will be 220. I also wonder what is the highest scorer in SCGS! :? Can someone please tell me? Thanks alot! Are they changing the pri vice principal?
