When I woke my DS up at 6:35 this morning, he asked me \"mom, do you have the ERPlist, m supposed to do a book review today\" I was  so no preparation and no research done! :slapshead:

Oh dear, are you aware that they are supposed to do it in class ? :nailbite: Not like the previous time whereby they can take home & take their own sweet time to do it ? DS2 is very very slow in his work .... πŸ˜“

Oh gosh ! Surprised to hear that there is still book review given that the yr end exam is around the corner in 2 weeks time.

Personally, it should carry some weight. If not, why would a no of schs offering this UNSW for the kids' participation? Frame it up, YY1205 since yr DS had high dist for Sci. Both Just4fun and Toxic118's DS also did very well. For a thot, thinking why boys tend to excel well in Sci and Math whereas girls are more inclined on languages?
Hi, all the best to your kids for tmrw's Math CT2 and coming EL and CL Oral next Mon & Tues.

            Hi GiftedGem,

Did your DD's school prepare them for the Oral ? Can share the topics covered ? Thanks. πŸ˜‰

            Hi Dagong,
Tr did not cover any specific topics except asking them to take note of some past performance mistakes.

More importantly, tr emphasized on reading, pronunciation and articulation must be accurate and clear. There must be appropriate rhythm and pace to achieve fluent reading.

For Picture discussion, do ensure that the explanation, language and coherence have to be well analysed with good details, grammar error free and appropriate use of language to show the characters and items.

            Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot, GiftGem. πŸ˜„
