Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts - Kinder Art class
-
wow...didn't know that this art class is that popular! Could someone enlighten me as to why, compared to other art classes out there...? :?
-
Honestly, I don't know as it's too early to tell. :? Perhaps other parents whose kids have been on the program longer could share their experience.
As a kiasu parent, heard that it's good, so join loh...
On a more serious note, I personally think that the fees charged by the school are very affordable as compared to other privately-run art classes. I also believe that they have a systematic way of teaching art (although for the 5/6 yos, the first 2 years probably focus more on creativity) and the school has been around for a really long time. The school is so popular that I heard it is very difficult to enrol into the older children art classes if the child isn't an existing student from the kinderart class.

OKOK...thanks...looks like I may really have to go queue in the wee hours of the morning

Furthermore, siblings have priority in registration. My dd's class 80% with elder siblings who are existing students. Only handful of vacancies left for new comersThe school is so popular that I heard it is very difficult to enrol into the older children art classes if the child isn't an existing student from the kinderart class.

Any1 here going to reg for the children art tomorrow (5th dec)? I'm thinking of the time to start queuing. Cos my elder gal's graduation is tomorrow and I dun want to miss the early part.
So i want to be the 1st in the Q so that i can reg and rush down for the ceremony at 10 am -
Went for registration on Sat. The 1st one in the queue came at 4am!!!
By 7am, there were at least 100 people in the queue...
And I counted that there were about 200+ or so number of vacancies... -

I wonder whether there's sufficient vacancy for everyone who gets the letter -

I don't think so!!! But, many thanks for the 6am tip...had I been there at 8am, no chance at all...when I left at 9.30am after registration, there were aleady 200 people in the room (i.e. queue number for each applicant)...and there were at least 300 people in the queue outside!!!:!:

Thanks for the tip.
I went early and managed to get a place for my girl. As priority was given to NAFA Kindy students and siblings, slots were left with very few vacancies when the registration opened at 9am.
