Depends on your budget. JW Marriott has 2 double beds so definitely can fit 4. I took connecting rooms at Crown Plaza Causeway Bay because we are 5. I wanted to stay HK side, so only research the hotels of HK side. I understand Kowloon side can try the family room at Langham at Mongkok. My friend stayed there and said it is good.I hv been searching for accommodation for 2A2C :hugs: :hugs: but most of the rooms in HK is really small. : (
Which hotel is recommended for family of 4 & clean?
Thank you. -

YMCA is clean. I stayed there in June. Booked 2 rooms as we had 4a2c and asked for extra bed for one of the rooms. No charge for extra bed.

Hi mamemo & mummy of 2,
Thanks for sharing the infor.
I shortlisted the following hotels:-
YMCA > wanna book but all rm type fully booked for the date I require
Royal park > read that it quite a distance & ned to cross a bridge to MTR? My 4 yrs old quite lazy to walk so might be an issue.
Prudential > gd location but ned to climb few flight of escalator to the hotel lobby & cost aro $320/nite
Cityview > price seem reasonable & location ok but room too small for family of 4 so still considering
So now I still searching.... -

thanks for all the inputs ppl..tango12:
i am trying to diy my hk trip n see if can save
more without gg through agency.
i can manage to bk all hotel n air tickets but i
am thinking how to bk airport transfer to hotel n back to
airport cos agency will arrange that.
any one can share experience or advice on when n how to bk this??
many thanks appreciated..
Take their airport express, or airport bus.
We took bus A21 to Jordan MTR (45min) . Only thing is u have to pull the luggage onto the bus.
HK public transport is even better than Singapore's standard. (frequency, connectivity, and reliability)
We can live without cabs for most of our itinerary.
but i am travelling with 4A2C.
so taxi would be inconnvenient??
is there any directions to the airport bus?
usually when i come out i saw the MTR stn.....
and cos disney is always my first stop, is there any
transport i can bk at their hotel to travel to city hotel?
i wonder is there a sg maxi cab type in hk where i can bk..
thanks once again and sry for my long questions.. -
Same cab, only diff colous (red, Green, and blue), did not see Maxicab.
HK cabs very strict on taxi passengers, I think max is 4. (u need 2 cabs)
Taxi is always convenient, if u have $$ to spare
We went Disney last, took cab, to airport, about hkd 150.
From airport, they have easy instructions to point u to train, taxis, and buses. Ask your hotel to give u more tips on bus.
Lastly, avoid carry luggage on bus/mtr during weekends or peak hours. Super-packed, and your luggage will block people. -
hi tango,
how old are the 2C? The guidelines given are as follows:
1. A child under 3 is not counted.
2. 3 children aged 3 or above but each not taller than 1.3 metres in height are counted as 2 adults.
In HK, most of the taxis can seat 5 adult passengers (there’s a green plate outside the taxi indicating whether it can seat 4 or 5 passengers).
In your case, you have 4A and 2C. If one of the child is under 3, then yes, all of you can sit in one taxi.
However, do note that other than the number of passengers, another main consideration is the number of large suitcases you have. I don’t know how many large suitcases all of you will be carrying. Can all of them fit into the car boot? -
