      Q: Some of the electronic equipment (WAS) destroyed in the fire and can no longer be used.

      Why is the ans was but not were?

        How and when do we use "has had" and "had had".

          This is because equipment is an uncountable noun. There is no such word as equipments.

            May I know when do we need to use a header like the one below in situation writing. I have went through some assessment books, most of the reports and emails only requires Dear Sir, ...... and ends with Yours sincerely. Thanks.
