Original Title: Anyone heard of Mrs Lim in Eastvale condo (CL2 tuition)?


I first heard of Mrs Lim from a taxi driver whom I took his taxi one day sending my daughter to tuition classes. He told me his daughter's CL2 wasn't very good before under Mrs Lim's tuition....but got an A for her PSLE last year which he said it was a miracle.

I am considering to give it a try since it is only 2 blocks away from my house. Any KS parents care to share if you know her or your kids were/are under her tuition?

Hi , I recently saw an ad in ST classified about MT tuition and called the teacher. She is Mrs Lim and stays in Eastvale condo in Tampines. She sounded experienced and confident that my p5 child will

Improve if I send him to her, apparently she teaches sec level as well. She conducts small classes and unfortunately the timing did not suit me as I have to go on a Wed night since her weekend class is full. Well, if you send your child to her and see an improvement , pls do pm me and let me know.

My child goes for Chinese tuition at Eastvale but am not sure if she is the one you all are talking about. She was recommended to me by someone whose child went from borderline to (strong) A after about 6 months with her. My DD will have taken 10 lessons with her by the time she sits for her PSLE. Breakthrough in prelim scores after 3 lessons with her.

Her rates for 1to1 are not cheap. At P1, I was paying $40 for a 1.5hours lesson. I only find her good for drilling of paper 2. Her teaching style stifles a child’s creativity in composition writing.

I’ve lost her contact number and my child is no longer with her. I dislike the way she drills the language so will not recommend her at all.
