My side still no news on the ant's perspective...

Huh? that's long. Yr DD did that much earlier than my DS, but DS got his result back last week. Actually I din know that he had done it, just dat he returned fr school one day , and had written some story abt ants. So it was not so much of a project, but more like a composition write up, right ?

Talking abt compositions.... so far what is the highest score that yr DD/DS can score out of 40 marks ? So far, despite positive comments fr tr, DS can only get 32 or 33, so am wondering is this the farthest one can stretch ? Anyone can share ? Composition does contribute to the exam result too !

Is there comp so far ? :scratchhead: Asked DS2 a few times but no .... Wonder if he can write :nailbite: Do all schools hv the same compo topic ? Can share so that I can ask DS2 again ?

Just4fun, what is the grading for ant's perspective? Clueless how DD is performing. For her class, this is deemed as progressive writing and to elaborate the content. There is 1st, 2nd and 3rd drafts before the final submission. At least 2 to 3 pages. Not 1 page leh. As for composition, the highest score is 33 and lowest 22. 25-26 as avg. It adds to the Performance A ssessment. Your DS has done his utmost best in this result. Congrats ![/quote]
Ant thing... No draft.. Just straight into written work in school. Yes 3pages. Thot it can be part of PA.. Cos u hv the choice of selecting best 2. If din do well then not select this lor. Am I right ?

Hi, if I remembered correctly, it shld go with below format.
Writing Assignment 40%
1. Process Writing - Ant's perspective 40 marks
2. 1 Composition Piece 40 marks ( Shld have 2 pcs done )

Reading 40%
1. ERP 20 marks
2.Comprehension 20 marks
3. No idea for last one which shld also be 20 marks .

Nope, nothing yet .
For mock paper, even if the school tr is to let them practise, the paper will not be returned . Just like the midterm, the tr will destroy the papers...
For Sci.. sign.... hasn't completed the teaching topics yet. Hence no mock paper yet.
