Does any of your kids encounter problems with the canteen operators? Like double charging, giving wrong and less change? Ds encountered a few times and always with the same store…

Not very sure, but is there a way we can get a price list of the food sold? Cos my son ever told me that 1 satay costs $0.60. Sounds ridiculous so I'm not sure is my son telling the truth. -
My son said the satay was $1 each! Had a shock of my life but he said it was larger in size than the normal ones sold outside.

There were two times when ds ordered and pay, then when the seller hand him the food, he will ask ds to pay again! When ds protests, seller will say he did not receive.

My son mentioned it to me before but I brushed it off thinking it was my son's poor Maths calculation. He said the canteen operators gave him wrong change, or no change several times. Earlier this year during HFMD outbreak, the boys ate in class and food was delivered by the operators. He said after he paid, the person did not return him the change. He approached the operator a few times for the money but was brushed off. Till now he still told me the operator owes him money. -
I keep wanting to write to the Principal but didn’t have the time to do so. I don’t agree with selling of carbonated/sweetened drinks at school. Kids like these stuff and they will buy as long as they have money. My boy have been buying these drinks on a daily basis no matter how I told him not to. Diabetes affect the young too.

Namie, yes I keep thinking could be ds was blur, so I wanted to find out here if ds was the only one. Now we no longer give him a $2 note, just coins. I also ask him to stay away from that stall. I also agree with the other mommies here that things at this school is really ex, like $1 for 2 nuggets. My staff canteen is cheaper.

Btw the latest incident, ds bought an egg tart supposedly for 80 cts. He gave $2 and the seller gave him 20 cts!

If what have been said here are true, the canteen operator must be taken to task. Please let the school know. We have not received any complaint from DS regarding given wrong change. Maybe he bought from different stalls. Nevertheless, people who take advantage of children should be taken to task.
