      Hi Nancy

      Thanks for your advice.

Perhaps it is too ambitious to do right brain training on my own instead of sending my child to the course. Just wonder why are right brain training course so expensive…

As for the rightbraintrainingeducation website, may i know is it good for kids to keep staring at the computer to practise right brain training. I prefer the real flash card. Do you know where can i buy the right brain training material?

      Thanks!

[quote=\"Imami\"]Hi parents, for those of you whose children are in right brain training programs, at what age did your kid start? and what age did it end? Do you think the training makes a difference to your children's development? If yes, please give examples.[/quote

        Hi Imami,

I send my child for Shichida classes when she was 4months plus.
She is now 6+ and she is now reading \"chapter\" books and not pictorial books.
Her vocabulary is very good and when she learns things very fast.

My daughter is not a super genius, but I know right brain education has help my daughter a lot.
I don't have to waste money on tuition fees.

As for http://www.rightbraineducationshop.com, I use their website most of the time because it is convenient. I have a few thousand flash cards which I have been using for a few years.
And based on my experience, it is very expensive to DIY, also if you buy there are very limited topics available.
I also had some Shichida flash cards and other tensei materials, ....it is very ex.
That is why I decided to go for Rightbraineducationshop.

On kids using computer screen..... I feels it's OK, because you are only spending a few minutes on the screen.
It is not as bad as watching cartoon programs for hours.

            Dear mummies and daddies,

My daughter is 4.5 yrs old. She can read quite independently now.
I am thinking of doing the right brain training and considering of subscribing http://www.rightbraineducationshop.com.
I check the samples and feel most are more suitable for your kids.
Mummies and daddies who are using these website pls share me if there are many materials suitable for 5yrs old child. Very much appreciated for your kind suggestion.

              Hi Rose88,

              I have subscribed to http://www.rightbraineducationshop.com.

I personally find their math flash cards (addition, subtraction, multiplication, multi dots, random dots, random dots) and vocabulary flash cards very useful.

I have been searching everywhere online and in shopping malls.. and I have to say the topics is unique which you cannot get it anywhere else.

As for your 5 year old child, I feel most or all the materials are suitable for your child because the english language used in the flash cards are very advance.

As for right brain methods, you must play the flash the cards as fast as you can because the idea of flashing cards is about training and developing the right brain.

Perhaps this video might tell you more.
