Now that I am sitting in this boat, ie the PSLE boat, I understand why there is such hype. I am NOT for scrapping PSLE. All I hope to see is a revised method of teaching our kids.

7 hours spent in school everyday should be quality time. True, a class of 40 makes it impossible to make sure every student understands.
I’ve heard several of my friends being blasted by their kids’ teachers to get the tutors to coach them in homework. This is simply ridiculous.

I am no Tiger mum…just one concerned with what my kids learn in school.

all i can say is sigh, sigh and sigh again...

kids face many sources of pressure, from school, from classmates, from family, from tuition, from peers.... i mean, they are really pitiful w/o happy childhood... when they grow up, they may only rmb how hard it was to study study and study... no longer like us where we rmb the kampong life, how to catch tadpoles, how to throw marbles...

        haiz haiz haiz...

eh...after psle u invite yourself over to Chen's garden to catch spider lor!! 😉

Let's see the PSLE. It will tell whether the minister and MOE are hearing us. If it's another year of tough exams, let's forget abt giving our feedback. It's not being heard ... :romance:

            Hi ontheballmother,

I think it may be late to decide how this year’s PSLE standard will be. They have all been printed and ready to be despatched to all the schools 2moro morn. Right now, I can only remind my son to relax and not panic.

                  PSLE starts 2moro.
My son is so stressed that he was crying in his sleep last night. My hubby and I had to assure him that everything would be fine. Why are our poor kids suffering from this dumb rat race so early in life ?
                  Dear Janet,

This is for your son....In life...what's more important is to chase the wind and touch the sky....to have lived. So just brave through PSLE which is only one of the quests in life, then look forward to chasing the wind and touching the sky...

DOnch know what some parents been planting into the head of their kids...the kids only think RI or RGS...it's like one and only dream school.

When they did not get their DSA...the stress even more tremendous!!!

                      Really pity those kids!! 😓
