Thanks mummies for sharing your experience with iclebo. Looks like quite hard to decide between iClebo and iRobot. May I know where i can order the iClebo or iRobot? Is it from Robovac or Autovac?

I bought my iClebo during their roadshow at Causeway Point. You can go into their local website to see the current roadshow venue. You can request for freebies too.


My personal practice is to clean and remove the debris using a normal vacuum clearner once a week. Using the small brush provided is not enough to clear the accumulate dust and the dust will fly around.

Hi, how's the LG Robooking? Does it clean and mop the floor effectively? And how much is it?


I've just gone maidless (maid completed contract and went back) and found it quite tedious to clean house, wash clothes, cook, iron and take care of a young child at the same time. :imdrowning:

Really salute to those mummies who have more than 1 kid and no maid or parents/in-laws/child care centres to help out at all. Wonder how they do it?! :salute:

I am using the LG Robooking(new model). I saw the display at Bishan J8 Best Denki, you can go have a look. As for the iclebo, I heard some say no good. Heard that out 10 buy, 2 will have issues

The mopping is like the magic clean function, it works wells for me. My basic requirements is to come home to a cleaner floor, do not expect the same cleaniness if you are to do it yourself.

Thanks for your sharing! You're right, I have to close one eye to the level of cleanliness in the house. It's not easy as I like my home spick and spank but it's not possible now cos if I sweep and mop and clean every day, I would have no time for my child. She is still very young and needs me to take care of her daily needs.


I also find it tough to cook and wash the dishes after a whole day of cleaning, laundry, sweeping, mopping etc. So we tend to eat out more these days although we would much prefer to eat at home.

That's why I'm thinking of investing in the Roomba to help me clean the floor. at least it's one load off me.

I have done it with 2 small kids. For the first year after the 2nd was born (the busiest year of all!), I had a PT maid to come in 1 morning a week to clean and iron, and I ordered tingkat dinners. After that, I started cooking again but retained the PT maid for a few more years. The main thing is to decide what is crucial and lower your standards a bit if necessary. Do the essentials as often as you have to, and the other things less often. I had a routine for every day so things would mostly get done. And I trained my kids to be tidier and cleaner, and as they grew, they learned to help more as well.

Glad that DH was wrking late shift so he did the cooking of dinner, washing & hanging of clothes.. But sianz tat it rained tis morning.. so no sun for my clothes.. n i have got no place for a dryer.. sigh..

But wat m gg to buy to start off for being maidless will be the spinner mop that HomeFix is selling now at $59.90. Heard from my frens is pretty good.. n den will get my irobot once my budget works out..

Yup. Robotic Cleaner are pretty affordable nowadays. 1 months Maid's salary + expenses could easily cover the cost of a Robotic Cleaner. iRobot Roomba range from $5XX and are pretty good value models.

That feeling of sending the maid off feels good, especially when I am close to either killing her or killing myself.
