That’s why it’s safer to ask your ds to use the station next to bishan - Marymount I think. But ds says he can’t use his student pass to access the gate even after it’s been activated. He relies on other students there to get in. Does any of your dses (year 1) have the same problem?

I'm Tang Xin Ning, a student from NTU majoring in Linguistics & Multilingual Studies, and currently I'm doing a research study investigating how the school a student is from may influence his/her language.

As such, I need 3 Year 3 students, and 3 Year 4 students from RI to participate in this study. I am here to appeal to parents of current RI Year 3 and 4 boys, to consent to your child's participation in my study.

The procedure is really simple and would only take 10 minutes: the participant will first be asked to read a short story aloud, after which he will be asked to give directions in a particular scenario. He will be audio-recorded in both tasks. Following which, he will be asked to fill in a short survey with his personal particulars, as well as details of his language use. Each participant will remain anonymous and all data collected will remain confidential. The recording will be done in a quiet environment. Should you agree to let your child participate, I would gladly accommodate his/your schedule and meet him at any convenient location (or just outside RI) and timing to record him. I understand that it's Term 4 and students would be very busy right now, so I will try to minimize any disruption to their schedule.

Would any kind parents be willing to let your child participate, pretty please? I would really x 10000 appreciate your help in this, as this project is for my thesis.

Thot we were talking about Year 1 Orientation, CCAs selection, RE Project etc, just yesterday.. And now, its the EOY exam.. :nailbite:

DS has been totally on his own now.. I can't help him in any ways, except to make sure that he is happy & healthy always.. He still spends a lot of time on FB and PC games.. Is it normal? :scratchhead:

Been very bz myself. I'm ok. Haven't got time to follow up at ksp. Yes, u r rite, time flies - EOY's juz next week. Hopefully ds will perform better than MYCT. He says he's very nervous abt the examz. I tried to give him some confidence, make him feel more comfortable and relaxed. Actually, it's not a bad thing your ds spends time on FB and PC games... at least he's not so tensed. I'm sure he already knows his stuff :boogie:
