We are PR just moved to Singapore, and Pei Tong is the only school has vacancy for P1 2012. It is a very nice school so far, and my boy enjoy go to school everyday.

I'm new here. My DS will be in PTPS next year. It seems like we have less Kiasu parents in PTPS, compare to other schools with quite many pages in their forum. This is a good sign to me , hopefully my DS won't be so stressful in PTPS and have happy time in primary school.

Dear parents, can anyone share what to be expected on the P1 orientation? How long it will take? Are parents allowed to be into the school with the child? Is there any kind of test?

The learning environment in Pei Tong is considerably good. My P1 son is always happy after school. They do some homework online as the school has an online e-learning portal . Paper and pencil homework is mostly given on Wed and Fri.


The P1 and P2 have 4 periods of PAL each week. My son is learning line dancing in Term 4. Every class will learn different skills for the 4 terms in school. They really have fun.

As long as the children do their daily revision in their homework and a little extra on math story sums, they should do fine in school.

Hi Sunnyh, my boy currently does not attend any BASC. I think Learning Loft at Clementi Ave 3 is not bad. I went up to check on the premise and the place is quite clean generally. They also provide English and Math tuition as part of the BASC.
