Hi Pink Piglet
I bought mine from Hock Hua UMF10 for my kids. But there are also many others you can check out - Guardian, GNC, Nature Farm, Holland & Barrett etc. -
Hi
Can I still give Manuka honey when they starts to cough o
And having runny nose? Your advice is greatly appreciated! -
Normally, I will give 1 teaspoon to my kids everyday. But if they start to cough or having dry throat, I will give them 2 -3 times per day.

Is it advisable for children below 2?

You may wish to check with the paeditrician. DD with drug allergy + other sensitivity is allergic to honey when younger. Bad tummyache and diarrhoea after drinking honey. The symptoms only ease till nearly 12.

Hi,
I've read this topic since page 1 and am impressed of the discussion. I recently both my first bottle at unity and just want to share my exprience. Both myself and my friends are taking 1 teaspoon in the morning, empty stomach.
For her, after taking it for 2 days, coughing and phlegm where out.
For myself, being type 2 diabetes, i monitor my sugar closely. Sugar level does not spike at all.

Hi anyone,
My DD always have some sorethroat and phlegm.
I have read through the first 20 or 30 pages. Can I summarize that the most popular brands bought here in Singapore are:
1. HNZ
2. Manuka Health
3. Comvita
How about Haddrell of Cambridge? Is that ok?
How about the UMF. Should we go for UMF 10+ or UMF 15+
Any advice would be much appreciated?
Cheers -
Considering the hefty price to pay, it is such a shame that most of this excellent honey are packaged in PLASTIC containers! Anyone knows of any brand of Manuka honey that comes in glass bottles?
