Thats terrible! hope you managed to talk to the teacher. If not effective, better alert the principal too.

I sent an email to the form teacher and principal. form teacher called me and principal replied my email. they mentioned that they will speak with the boys as well as their parents. guess sometimes i wonder if these kids are aware that their playful behaviour may get them into trouble…

anyway, i told my DD to try to stay with the other girls and help each other.

Hope everything is fine now. There are really some kids who have very bad behaviour. My son was telling me about 2 of his classmates who stole from the bookshop. Sigh.

Better as in? There's no better or worse school. Every kid is different so u see what u need for your kid and whichever more convenient for u. It's going to be very tiring for him if he needs to travel so far to your mom's place. Or u are thinking of letting him stay with your mom for 6 yrs of his pri sch life?

Unless u are a former student from mee Toh, else u will be considered 1-2 km even if your mom is within 1 km. think mee Toh is also quite popular and chances are u won't be able to get in if yours is under 2C.

Better in acad means more tests, more work, more studies. Depends on what u want. Dunno about mee Toh, Anderson isn't very acad driven. Instead, they have specialization from p3 onwards called the IMAS. They are put into classes which specializes in leadership, music, computer, sports etc depending on their talents. If u want your kid to be study like crazy for 6 yrs and get good psle results, then u can skip Anderson. Anderson is quite relaxed for p1 at least. I know of some schs where even at p1, they have many tests and exams. I heard from parents at the upper pri that their stds aren't comparable to the elite schs. But if u desire your child to do more than just study, then u can try Anderson. U. Can read more about it on their website.

The other thing u need to consider is distance. Travelling is really no joke. Unless u wanna move near mee Toh.

Btw, Anderson will be going thru upgrading from 2014 to 2015. So will be shifting to kebun baru for 2 yrs.
