      JAR:
      :thankyou:

      DS is from Poi Ching.

Guess not all kids are notified yet as it seemed(from DS's desciption) that his principal had just gotten the result slip hot from the mail and rushed to inform the kids before school ended today.
      :congrats: JAR!

Advanced Children's Day presents for these kids, I guess!!

          :congrats:
Hahaa DS don't feel happy at all that he advances to the next stage, asking me why he needs to take another 4 papers(Eng, GA1, Math & GA2). You see, he is not keen to change school as he is very attached to his cca and school friends. Now I hope his friends from other classes qualify too.

Few days back, DD also raise the same question. " Mummy, Can I stay in the same school next year?" (p4) even before knowing the result . Infact she feel good/ proud being the BIG FISH in the SMALL POND !

That’s one factor I am considering IF she got thru the selection test.

On the contrary, DS is not happy as he was the first to be called by the principal to receive the test slip and he thought he had done something wrong. He got a bad fright plus he don't want to change school. But I am super thrilled and proud of him. :rahrah:

looks like round 1 result not yet released. If not released today or tmr, then it has to be next week as No school on Friday and no lesson on Thurs (Children's Day Celebration).

                    Result out.
My DS got in and quite a number of his classmates(mixed ability class) also qualify.

                    :congrats:

Ya. To many kids it's a bitter sweet kinda feeling if they r not already in a gep school.
