Chief refused. Chief was loyal to his mod at least in his private interactions with me, he defended his mod. I do not believe Chief removed his mod. We should also be mindful that if Ksi left without explanation after a spate of joyful messages and many posts indicating her plans to do more for the forum, something might have happened that caused her great pain. Let us not embarrass her publicly by intimating that she was sacked.
To my knowledge, she was not.
Use this thread to honor her... those who wish to. No one is all good or all bad. She has done wonderful things for this forum. In this thread, we should honor her and not kick down her reputation when she is no longer here to defend it.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that the level-headed, sensible, logical-thinking Ksi would just walk away like this. Nonetheless, I hope she has a cooling period and maybe decide to join back later

it is clear that she quit herself... no one is saying she was sacked...
i believe there could be many reasons to this and she herself may be in a dilemma too... lets hope the best for her and things will go smoothly for her in all possible ways... -
Just honor her here. Remember her contributions... her verve... her penchant for creating fun games of all sorts... her talent with avatars... her inability to bear grudges... honor her. Write nice things. She may be reading and we want her cry with happiness that she made a difference NOT cry from hurt and pain.
Let her, at least, leave with that. Hopefully posts after this will detail the ways she touched each individual personally, as I am sure she did. Let's stop speculating about the circumstances of her departure. It leads nowhere and does no good.
Beautiful farewell messages in contrast will do her spirit much good (and lift our own). We all have fond memories of her. Write those instead. Write beauty, not ugliness. Let us show that we are not a forum like other forums. -

You’re a well-respected forummer and mod here. I enjoyed your intelligent posts, your humour and your generous giving nature. I always wondered how you found the time to do all that you did on ksp.
