So if they take out banding. What’s going to happen to those "Top" schools and their DSA system? They’ve got the top kids and will continue to top in exams right?

The 'top' schools will still remain...Their top students will still be able be top.
My worry is the COP...with this year being Dragon kids taking PSLE, I guess there will be a higher COP. I've yet to receive that 2013 sec schools listing :rant:

Top schools are IP schools that attract top 10% of the PSLE students. Not all schools are equally good, even without banding.
