      Hi kiasunewbie,

My son in P1 this year. School is stress-free, honeymoon no homework type, makes me a very free mummy. 🙂 on the bad side, may have to spend more on enrichment outside school... 😛

          Hi,

I am considering moving my child to xinmin next year since im relocating. Just looking for some feedback on the school and if it is one of the better ones in this location. Rosyth is the nearest, but waiting list could be quite long. Appreciate any tips, advice parents whose children go to xm.

            Hi All,

Just got my child transfered to Xin Min Pri after March school Holidays, my boy is in P3 this year(2012), I’m glad that managed to transfer him here. Anything to share?

I noticed that the level of studies in Xin Min Pri is consider quite "high". My child was from another school, he missed a lot in his studies because of the different approached and different methods of teaching. I am still worried but I hope my boy will be able to cope. Surprisingly, even 80% of the school books are the same, but seems that my boy has missed so much. Any parents having child in P3 this year?

              Hi All and Min_Kecik,

My nephew is currently in Pr 2 with Punggol Primary. My sis-in-law heard from friend that there are alot of homework. She & my bro are not conversant in English so will not be able to coach my nephew in his school work at all. Tough!

They want to apply for transfer to XinMin Pr next year because it is 2 blocks away from his home. This will save travelling time esp Pr 3 is morning session. Perhaps more sleep = better concentration. Better behaved children in XinMin?

After reading Min_Kecik's note, I am getting worried for him. not sure if it is still gd idea since he sometimes have concentration issue.

can any P3 Parent share and advise on this 🙂
