I’ve bought a convertible power plug many years ago. There are different pin heads inside so that you can change to suit the country’s power point. Forget where I bought from but I think Challenger or HomeFix DIY shop should have.

U can get it from any computer shop, airport or even lend it from the hotel reception!

If u don’t use it often, u can always borrow from friends rather than buying it.

We got the super cheap kind from neighbourhood shop. Of course, when we pay peanuts for such things, we cannot expect top quality. Luckily for us, the plugs still work even after a few trips to Japan over several years.

Do note that Japan uses lower voltage than us so our plugs don’t "convert" anything; they just allow us to use the "unique" sockets that Japan uses. So if you’re looking for "conversion" capabilities, I think it’s better to get the more expensive ones.

              Hi,

Got mine from the airport few years back. Think I paid around $50 and it has been very handy and durable. Used in Australia, Japan, US, China, Asean countries, etc… Never been to korea and NZ but I have faith that it will work.

I can’t remember the brand, it was some travel accessories brand that I got from the computer shop.

I’m a frequent traveller - 1 advise is not to go for cheap ones when it comes to multi-adapter. Invest in a good one, and it will go a long way, in protecting yourself and your electrical gadget
